"Layered" - as the pieces are made up of many individual layers, that come together to form the whole. Each piece echoes the ebb and flow of water, creating rhythm in the movement of the clay as well as using a glaze that starts flowing when it is fired to 1280 degrees. There are also some Raku pieces that were inspired by the afternoon reflections on the water.
